The Avellanas Beach Club The Beach Club is located in front of one of the most important surf spots in Costa Rica, Little Hawaii in Playa Avellanas, one of the best beaches on the Costa Rican Pacific and a favorite at Hacienda Pinilla. The Club also offers the best views of the Róbalo, Avellanas and Playa Negra beaches. The 3-story building is built in Spanish colonial architectural style, fitting for the casual atmosphere of the Hacienda Pinilla Pacific beaches. On the main level is located the reception room, sales office, roomy corridor with ocean views, kids club and the spacious open-air Avellanas Restaurant, which has a bar area facing the pool and the sea. At the front, facing the beach is an infinity edge pool which appears to melt into the sea, as well as a variety of areas including a children’s section, spa, gardens and sun decks. Opposite the pool is the Ranchito Grill Las Palmas, a full bar that serves food and drinks to the pool and beach areas as well as a small space for beach game rentals and towel delivery. In addition on the upper level the club has the Mandarina Lounge which is a great option for relaxation but also a good equipped A/C area for groups meetings. In the lower level we have Del Mar Wellness Area with two spa treatment rooms plus shower, lockers, changing rooms and restrooms all of them can be easily accessible from the pool, beach or the main floor. The Golf Course An excellent golf course in your own backyard – this is the centerpiece of Hacienda Pinilla’s exclusive environment. This 6,800-meter field is the masterpiece of Mike Young, who has designed some of the best golf courses in the world. bathrooms with all amenities, this unit has a living room, A/C, 2 cable TVs, 2 telephones, 2
safes, 2 alarm clock/radios and mini-fridge. The fully equipped kitchen is complete with
refrigerator and two coffee makers and there is a small terrace. Rates per night are based

Tamarindo
If you are coming from the Juan Santamaria International Airport, take the Inter American Highway northwest to Liberia. The trip is 135 miles and should take around 4 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive Liberia you will see a traffic light on the highway with 2 gas stations, a Burger King and a Papa John's on the corners. In Liberia , take road 21 southwest to Belen. Turn right in Belen and drive to Huacas which is about half an hours drive. From there you will make a left and follow the signs to Tamarindo, about 35 minutes. The hotel is located in Hacienda Pinilla between Tamarindo and Avellana Beach.
