Day 1 : Arrival

Arrive by air into San Jose. A representative from Costa Rican Trails will meet you at the airport and provide transfer to Grano de Oro Hotel for your first night in Costa Rica.

Day 2 : Central Pacific (B)

Morning transfer to romantic and dramatic Villas Caletas Hotel near Jaco Beach on the west coast. The one and a half hour trip descends from the mountains to sea-level. Jaco Beach area encompasses almost everything that attracts visitors to Costa Rica: exuberant tropical forests, green hills, vibrant sea and pristine beaches.

Day 3 : & 4 - Days at leisure (B)

During these days enjoy a 50 minutes massage (Deep tissue or serenity) and indulge in the tranquility of this exclusive retreat close to heaven. Also enjoy a romantic candelight dinner with sparkling wine on a private Terrace.

Day 5 : Manuel Antonio (B)

Mid-morning transfer to the famous Manuel Antonio National Park, to Arenas del Mar, the perfect honeymoon escape, offering a luxurious lodging experience in harmony with Costa Ricas nature in a spectacular beach and rainforest setting. Manuel Antonio, one of the most beautiful National parks in the world, offers not only beach and ocean activities, but a great combination of restaurants, night life, rainforest and beaches.

Day 6 : Sailing Cruise (B, D)

Come with us and discover the coast of Manuel Antonio. Sail aboard the Tom Cat or the Spanish Dancer. Come aboard and see the many dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and birds of the Manuel Antonio Marine Preserve. The peace and serenity of sailing these pristine waters is an unforgettable experience.

Day 7 : Mangrove Damas Island Kayaking (B, L)

Transportation provided to the put in shore. During the 20-minute drive your guide will explain some of the scenery highlights. This tour allows you to explore the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. You will set out in a river called Paquita facing an island and float along the soft currents under a verdant forest canopy. Make sure you keep your eyes wide open so you can spot the many bird species, and white faced monkeys. While you silently observe this rich habitat your guide will offer explanations about the nature specimens found in this unique region. This tour takes you through the natural canals and provides an ideal opportunity to observe heron species, kingfishers, ospreys, frigots and other migratory birds. As you journey through the brackish waters you can catch glimpses of the island as you pass beneath tunnels made naturally from tree growths. As this tour takes you across the waters for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, lunch can be arranged before or after the trip (schedule depends on the tides).

Day 8 : Departure (B)

This morning you will catch a domestic flight back to San Jose.
Transfer to the international airport for your flight back home. (better if you book the international flight after 1pm)
